This week we were treated to a presentation from the Asthma Foundation...

   

Learning the Basic Elements of Shape.

This term our art focus has been on drawing... we have learnt about the basic elements of shape. We used these lines and shapes to do some practise drawings and then finished the term off with some beautiful bird pictures.

          

We then used water colours to bring our birds to life...

          

Discovery Time Week 10

This week at Discovery time we had...wood work, paper darts, drawing, modelling goo and the making table.
We have been talking about 'problem solving' as part of our 'Managing Self' life skill,  so today after discovery time we had some examples to share of when the children had to solve a problem.

Ordering numbers

We have bee learning to order numbers and count them forwards and backwards.

      

Kiwi Sports 2018

Our annual Kiwi sports morning was held at the Brightwater Domain on Wednesday.
The children get to take part in a variety of events and activities. We join in with other schools in our area as well as room 4 and have a fantastic time.

Fantails!!!

Not one but two fantails flew into our class today.

They were dancing around.....

Fun in the Pool

With the water in our school pool getting a bit cooler we have just had a couple of days of fun.
Our swimming days will be coming to an end. But using the kayaks is a great way to do something new and learn some new skills.
