and yes they did but we didn't actually see any of them do their thing. All of a sudden we had 3 butterflies instead of 3 chrysalis..it happened so fast! Still very exciting for us all. We watched them dry their wings then we put the plant outside where the butterflies flew away. There are still 3 more butterflies to emerge from their chrysalis so maybe we will get to witness one of those.

Caterpillars... no longer
We have been watching our Monarch chrysalis for about 2 weeks now, waiting for them to become beautiful butterflies. Well this morning we had 3 separate chrysalis to keep a close eye on. They were bound to emerge from their chrysalis sometime today...
and yes they did but we didn't actually see any of them do their thing. All of a sudden we had 3 butterflies instead of 3 chrysalis..it happened so fast! Still very exciting for us all. We watched them dry their wings then we put the plant outside where the butterflies flew away. There are still 3 more butterflies to emerge from their chrysalis so maybe we will get to witness one of those.
