Welcome to our blog. We are a class of year 0-1 students (5-6 yr olds) at Hope Primary School in New Zealand. Our teacher is Mrs Ross and this blog is a journal of our learning experiences while we are here in Room 3.

Measurement
We have been learning how to measure the length and width of things in our classroom by using ordinary objects as our measuring tools. Have a look at some of the things we measured.
David and Theo are working together to measure some large cards. |
Cam and Deven are using cubes to measure the iPad. |
Edward is measuring one of the long building blocks. |
Isabel measured a pen. |
The boys also decided to measure the length of the classroom. They ran out of cubes! |
Bella used a shoelace to measure the width of the door. |
Tasmyn's Story
Over the past few months we have been getting familiar with the apps on our class iPad. Watch and listen as Tasmyn reads her story using Puppet Pals.
