Learning to Dance with Dean...So much Fun!!
As promised here are a few videos of our dance lessons from Monday's session. Room 3 and 4 join in with some children from Room 2.
Dean comes in every Monday afternoon and teaches us some new moves.
The children look forward to these lessons and I think they would be very happy if we could do dance everyday. It is soooo much fun!!
We are working towards a Dance Presentation which will be held at school on the 19th September, 2:10 - 2:50pm. Make sure you come along and watch how these lessons progress.
I think there are some real promising dancers here.
Take a look.....

Discovery Time Week 3
This week we were again concentrating on "solving problems by ourselves". The activities we had were: Woodwork, Box puppet shows, Bird feeders, Gloop and Lego. Yet again we had a great amount of fun while learning and thinking about working things out on our own.
Have you heard of Onomatopoeia?
The children in Room 3 learnt a very big word this week..."Onomatopoeia"
This is the name given to a word that is actually a 'noise' or it can be an 'action' too.
We have had a lot of fun this week with these words.

Dancing fun!!
Primary Colours
Last week we learnt about Primary Colours. This week we are going to find out about Secondary colours.
We started an experiment today and watched some coloured water travel up through a handy towel. By the time we come back to school tomorrow we will see something amazing has happened.
What do you think it will be??
