Discovery Time week 11 Term 2

This week our activities were....Making toast, Playing with Lego, Blowing bubbles -outside, Constructing with boxes, Shaving foam fun. We have been talking and learning about 'Negotiating' this week so today we practised this skill.

This years Cross Country at Rabbit Island. As usual a great effort from the Room 3 children.😊

Discovery Time Week 10 Term 2

This weeks activities were playing with blocks, making roly poly heads, making sandwiches, playing with coloured rice and funnels, and fun with shapes. We were working on co-operation and sharing.

Learning to write numbers

We went out to the hard court to write numbers on the concrete with chalk.

    

Week 9 Discovery Time

This week our activities were....Fun with numbers, Moulding goo, Boxes (no glue), Popsicle sticks and cars, Magic wands and Marble art. Our life skill this term is 'Relating to Others' and our focus today was on 'sharing and taking turns'.
Some of the boys made a great road for the cars out of popsicle sticks and a group of girls had a lovely imaginary game going on with the magic wands. later in the morning there was some present making with the boxes and stuff from our making bin...but no glue was allowed here today!!

Discovery Time Week 8 Term 2

This weeks Discovery activities were...dress ups, construction with boxes, Brain box kits, flip boards outside, and building towers.
