Discovery Time Week 8

This week for Discovery Time our activities were....Construction with boxes, Making a lemon drink, Bubble blowing, Loom bands, Put up the Christmas tree, and making paper chains.

A visit for Constable Danny

Today we were treated to a visit from a policeman and his police car. We learnt about the things that policemen carry with them either on their person or in their car. We got to see the lights flashing up close and heard the sirens...they were very loud. We also got to go inside the police car for a closer look.

Discovery Time week 5

This week our activities were.....Construction with boxes, Weaving, dress-ups, making a necklace or bracelet, stamp pictures and skipping ropes.

Our Second Golf Lesson

We have been learning some golf skills at school. Room 3 and 4 have joined together for these lessons and in a couple of weeks the whole school are heading out to Totaradale Golf course to try our skills out there.

Making patterns

We have been making repeating patterns....sometimes we even make some using our bodies such as: clap...stamp...jump...clap...stamp...jump...etc

Term 4

 Discovery Session week 2.
 We had fun with ....pretend baking, marble tracks, loose parts (box creations), collage, and water play. The water play wasn't very popular this time as it was quite cold outside.
Our Life Skill we are learning about this term is "Participating and Contributing" and our focus today was "having a Go"
