It sounds like all the children had a great couple of weeks off and spent some fun times with friends and family.
This term during our visual art sessions we will be looking at different ways of making prints. Our first lesson this week was on using leaves. We painted the rough side of the leaf then placed it paint-side down onto black paper, this was repeated until we had a nice arrangement of leaf prints. Then we used small sponges with bright colours to fill in the gaps.
They all turned out quite beautiful don't you think?
