Discovery Time

This term our Life Skill that we are focusing on at Hope School is 'Thinking" and our Value is "Learning" so today we were looking at problem solving and we also discussed the Learning Pit (now called the Learning Challenge)

The Learning Challenge is used around the world to promote challenge, dialogue and a growth mindset. It is a way of explaining to children why more challenge leads to enhanced learning. It helps children challenge themselves and I like the way it gives them a visual to see what learning is all about. It was created by James Nottingham.
